1. Please do not come to your appointment if:
You are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing and/or runny nose.
You have had close contact with a probable or positive COVID-19 case.
You have been advised to self-isolate for any reason including recent travel outside Canada
2. Upon arrival please follow our instructions carefully:
The door will be locked while we are with clients. If you are early for your appointment please wait in the hallway or in your car until your appointment time.
Please arrive at your appointment on time and refrain from being late during this time.
Please do not bring a guest to your appointment, this includes children, spouses, friends, etc.
You must hand sanitizer or wash your hands at our handwashing sink.
We will then hand you a clean and disinfected plastic tote that will be used for your personal belongings (jacket, purse, wallet, keys, phone, etc.) during your appointment. This tray will be with you at all times.
Due to the fact we have a shared bathroom, that requires a key for access, we want to refrain from using the bathroom unless it is an emergency.
All clients will be required to fill out a COVID-19 Client Intake Consent Form on the day of the appointment, click here to fill out the form.
Due to the close proximity and physical contact during our services a Mask for both the client and service provider is required.
If you don’t have a mask we will provide you with a disposable mask for a $2 fee.
4. Luminesce Artistry is following these enhanced procedures to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
Blankets will no longer be provided. Please dress warmly or bring your own blanket if you would like.
Disposable covers will be placed on the bed for each appointment and replaced after each use.
Prepayment for services is available by e-transfer if clients prefer contactless payment. We also accept credit, debit, and cash (please bring the correct amount as no change will be given).
Our appointments have been extended by 15-30 minutes, depending on the appointment, to ensure proper sanitation is met.
All surfaces will be wiped thoroughly with hospital grade disinfectant before and after each client.
As always, all our tools and implements are soaked in a high-level disinfectant and sterilant called PREEMPT HDL5
Anyone refusing to follow our guidelines will be refused service. These guidelines are to help keep our clients and staff as safe as possible. We will continue to follow the government’s recommendations for safety protocols. Thank you so much for your understanding and support.

During these past months of uncertainty and change, we have been looking forward to the day when we can welcome back our clients to Luminesce Artistry. We are excited to announce that we are reopening our studio on June 1st, 2020 and will operate based on the reopening guidelines established by WorkSafe BC.
We have worked diligently during the studio’s closure to update its already rigorous sanitation and hygiene standards and implement new policies and procedures to promote the health and safety of our clients and staff.
What you can expect:
Our staff may be working reduced hours and our appointment times will be extended to ensure we meet proper sanitation.
While our studio has always met stringent sanitation requirements, we will now more visibly display those efforts and display additional signage for your comfort.
Our waiting area will be closed and the front door will be locked at all times when we are with clients. Therefore we will not accept any walk-ins at this time.
Please arrive at your appointment on time so we can let you into the studio.
Once you are let into our studio you will be required to wash your hands at our designated handwashing station.
Upon arrival, we will hand you a clean and disinfected plastic tote that will be used for your personal belongings (keys, purse, jacket, etc) during your appointment. This tray will be with you at all times.
Our service providers will wear a mask and a face shield during all treatments as an enhanced safety measure.
Our studio has given adequate space between stations to oblige with the 2m distance protocol.
All beverage services will be suspended at this time.
As you may know, we use a shared bathroom for our studio and to ensure our client’s safety we have also provided a regular cleaning schedule and additional cleaning supplies to make sure our clients feel comfortable and safe.
Opportunity to pay for your treatment and gratuity in advance for a touchless payment transaction. All forms of payment are accepted.
What we ask of you:
Refrain from visiting the studio if you or a household member have a fever, COVID-19 symptoms or a communicable illness.
Refrain from visiting the studio if you are under an isolation or quarantine order/directive.
Respect the studio’s sanitation and hygiene standards and processes posted within the studio and shared by employees.
We are requiring our clients to bring and wear their own face mask while being serviced to protect our clients and staff. We will, of course, provide a mask if needed.
All of our client’s health will be consistently checked before and at the beginning of every appointment with health screening questions.
Share special sanitation or hygiene requests prior to arriving at the studio.

We want to ensure our clients and staff all feel very comfortable and safe when visiting our studio which is why we have publicly posted our changes. Luminesce Artistry will continue to follow local, provincial, and national regulations regarding the safe operation of personal service establishments. As the studio receives additional guidance, its policies and practices will be updated accordingly.
